Tasks constitute the work of a project. In almost every project, the tasks are distinct, identifiable activities that can be completed within a reasonable amount of time, given the scope of that project.
You supply the basic information for each task in a project:

In the MacProject II Schedule Chart, tasks are represented as boxes. In the Task Timeline and Resource Timeline, tasks are represented as bars spanning a period of time. On a color device, critical tasks appear in red in the Schedule Chart and the timeline charts.
